What Columbus Commercial Refrigeration Is
Columbus Commercial Refrigeration operates a commercial refrigeration service request website for the Columbus, Ohio metro and surrounding Central Ohio. The site is not itself a commercial refrigeration contractor. Columbus Commercial Refrigeration does not directly perform repair work, installation work, inspection work, preventive maintenance, emergency dispatch, or on-site service unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement. Repair work, quotes, scheduling, dispatch, invoices, warranties, insurance documentation, licensing, safety procedures, refrigerant-handling records, food-safety documentation, and workmanship are handled by the independent provider that accepts and performs the job.
Commercial Refrigeration Requests Only
The service request line is for commercial refrigeration equipment only. No residential refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, residential HVAC, heat pump, automotive AC, RV or boat refrigeration, window AC unit, or DIY parts-only requests will be routed.
Independent Service Providers
Repair work is performed by independent local commercial refrigeration providers. Those providers are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, franchisees, or representatives of Columbus Commercial Refrigeration. Columbus Commercial Refrigeration does not control or supervise the day-to-day work of independent providers and does not guarantee their performance, workmanship, parts, scheduling, billing, or warranties.
No Guaranteed Provider Availability
Use of this website and submission of a service request does not create a contract for service and does not guarantee provider availability, response time, pricing, dispatch, or service. Provider availability, estimated time of arrival, rate structure, scope of work, and any warranty terms are confirmed directly between the requesting facility and the dispatched provider before work begins.
No Life-Safety or 911 Replacement Service
The Columbus Commercial Refrigeration request line is a commercial refrigeration service request line — not a life-safety, emergency-response, or 911-replacement service. For fires, gas leaks, ammonia releases, electrical emergencies, injuries, or any situation that threatens life, health, or property safety, call 911 and your facility's emergency contacts immediately. For utility emergencies, contact your gas, electric, or water utility directly.
Emergency Requests
For active commercial refrigeration emergencies with product at risk, calling the published phone line is faster than the online form. Submitting an emergency through the online form does not create a guarantee of immediate or any provider dispatch.
Information You Submit
You agree that the information you provide in any service request is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have authority to request commercial refrigeration service for the facility involved. Submitted information may be used to route the request, document the request, follow up, prevent fraud, and improve site operations.
Photos and Files
Photos uploaded with a request should be limited to equipment nameplates, failure points, equipment surroundings, and temperature displays. Do not submit photos that include sensitive personal information, identifiable individuals without consent, employee badges, payment cards, or confidential records.
Third-Party Provider Communications
Once routed, communication about scheduling, dispatch, ETA, quotes, work scope, warranty, and invoicing happens directly between you and the independent provider. Those communications are governed by the provider's own terms, not these Terms.
Lead Routing & Compensation
Columbus Commercial Refrigeration may receive compensation from independent commercial refrigeration providers for service requests routed to them or for work that results from those requests. Compensation arrangements do not guarantee provider availability, dispatch, pricing, workmanship, or any specific outcome on your request.
Quotes, Rates, Invoices & Payment
All quotes, diagnostic fees, trip charges, labor rates, after-hours pricing, parts pricing, invoices, and payment terms are set, collected, and managed by the dispatched provider. Columbus Commercial Refrigerationdoes not set, collect, hold, finance, or guarantee provider pricing or invoices.
No Workmanship Warranty by the Website
Columbus Commercial Refrigeration does not warrant the workmanship, parts, labor, scheduling, or outcomes of any independent provider. Any workmanship, parts, or labor warranties are between you and the dispatched provider.
Facility Access & Safety
You are responsible for safe facility access for the dispatched provider, including site escorts where required, lockout/tagout procedures where applicable, after-hours access, and any safety orientation your facility requires.
Food Safety & Product-Loss Responsibility
Columbus Commercial Refrigeration does not make food-disposition, discard, or health-code compliance decisions. Facilities are responsible for their internal food-safety procedures, temperature logs, HACCP plans, insurance procedures, and local health department guidance. Repair, refrigerant-handling, and temperature recovery documentation can be requested from the dispatched provider.
Provider Credentials
Ask the dispatched provider to confirm current Ohio licensing, municipal registration, EPA Section 608 certification (where refrigerant handling is involved), certificate of insurance, workers compensation coverage, and any other credentials required for the work being performed. Columbus Commercial Refrigeration does not verify, certify, license, or guarantee provider credentials.

Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the website to submit fraudulent requests, attempt to bypass call routing, send spam, scrape or harvest data, interfere with site operations, attempt unauthorized access, or misrepresent your authority to request service for a facility.
Intellectual Property
All site content — text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Columbus Commercial Refrigeration and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.
Privacy
Use of the site and the request line is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes call tracking, recordings, transcripts, analytics, sharing with independent providers, and lead routing.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and the request line are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Columbus Commercial Refrigeration disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uptime, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Columbus Commercial Refrigeration shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost product, food loss, business interruption, or loss of data, arising out of or related to use of the website, the request line, or any work performed by an independent provider.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Columbus Commercial Refrigeration, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the website, your submission of service requests, your communications with independent providers, or your violation of these Terms.
Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated date.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the website shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Columbus Commercial Refrigeration regarding use of the website and the request line.
